Explore South East Ireland
We are staying in a small village on the coast of Ireland for these 2 nights, there are walking trails, a path to the next village (1km to Ballyhack), in Ballyhack there is a passenger ferry (€2 return ticket) to the village across the river (Passage East) that has a strand area to walk along.
On the Saturday evening, in the local pub in Arthurstown, the locals have an annual Christmas in July; and you are invited!
This is a fun way to immerse yourself in local life and see the craic* that goes on.
*Craic (crack) is a term for fun, entertainment and enjoyable conversation, particularly prominent in Ireland.
