I have been to Ireland a few times and this was my second tour. I find that for me it's better to do a tour than try to drive myself. This tour was wonderful. It was lots better than the other tour a few years back. We did not spend too much time on the bus and were able to see so many beautiful sites. Our guides were very nice and made us all feel very comfortable. Everything went as planned. Our lodging and meals were great. I would highly recommend this company.

It’s hard to describe Ireland to people who have never been there. 'The countryside is green'. True, but more deep and beautiful than you can imagine. 'The people are very friendly'. Of course, but more genuinely than you will expect. 'The coast is breathtaking'. Yes, but in the literal sense, not just figuratively. Our tour with Celtic Seasons let us experience all of this and more. While we explored cities, castles, abbeys, and natural wonders, my wife and I always felt like we were among friends and we were excited for each new adventure. Deirdre and Jenny made us feel right at home no matter how far we traveled and they seemed to always have the perfect recommendations that really elevated our tour. For us, this was a trip of a lifetime. We had experiences, enjoyed food and entertainment, and made friends that we’ll never forget

Although I’m a quarter Irish, I’d never traveled to Europe. My anticipation for this trip was to see some of the sights and get a connection to my heritage. What I came away with was a genuine experience and a lifetime of memories that far exceeded my expectations. The hosts, Deirdre and Jenny, proved the key to this trip. Their lively, engaging, and humorous personalities made me feel at ease and the experience more personal and one of a kind. I experienced aspects of Ireland and Northern Ireland that I’d read about but also many places I was unaware existed. The hosts’ are native to Ireland and their lifetime experience brings a level of expertise and personal touch you won’t find in other travel agencies. My travel group was small and friendships were forged that made the experience all the more enjoyable. Celtic Seasons brought forth both the traditional ‘must see’ sites such as Dublin and the Cliffs of Moher but also smaller towns and local pubs that brought an intimate, native aspect of local Ireland other tours would overlook. If you are looking for more than just sight-seeing and long for an authentic experience, where you’re treated like family and attention to detail and authenticity in your experience is paramount, I highly recommend using Celtic Seasons!

Without question, there is no better way to tour someplace new, than with a local. We absolutely loved our trip with Deirdre and her company Celtic Seasons. Deirdre's natural warmth, humor, and no-nonsense approach to touring means you REALLY see the country, while avoiding all the tourist traps. We really appreciated the balance between having the essentials taken care of (lodging, some meals, transportation) while allowing plenty of room for unstructured time to explore on our own and take things at our own pace. When touring with Celtic Seasons you have the benefit of a local stateside, as well as her family in Ireland who are quick with insight, a recommendation, or a quick fix should anything unexpected happen. We couldn't recommend touring with this company more, and look forward to future trips!

This trip was amazing! I recommend Celtic Seasons tours to anyone who wants a personalized, unique experience to really get to know the island of Ireland. Deirdre made every part of the journey fun and interesting as she shared stories and personal anecdotes about her life growing up on the island. The sites were breathtaking and every moment was filled with something new and interesting. The Giant's Causeway was stunning and the small village of Ballyhack was quaint and beautiful. It was truly a gift to be able to see these places through the eyes of a local who brought so much love and joy to the experience. I will never forget this trip and I can't wait to go again someday!
